  European Court to favor the WT and condemns the French goverment

  this news was announced today on the journal "le monde": http://www.lemonde.fr/societe/article/2011/06/30/temoins-de-jehovah-la-cour-europeenne-des-droits-de-l-homme-condamne-la-france_1543102_3224.html#xtor=rss-3208.

  unfortunately, the european court of human rights has just condemned the french government against jehovahs witnesses.

  if you recall, the french state was claiming 23 million euro (abt 33 million us dollars) taxes on contributions received by the french watchtower during the years 1993-96, which, by now, had climbed to about 58 million euro (abt 83 million us dollars) counting interests and charges.. it is not easy to size the wt.

  The French government, dispite critism, often shows itself to be very lucid.

  For example, they have been refusing aumonary visits to JWs, something that they ( WT$) have been contesting in the courts.

  However, a spokeman for the prison authoritys stated:

  Prisoners are often emotionally in a weak state. But these are the very type of people that Jehovahs Witnesses prey on. That is why we do not grant aumonary visits to the WT$

  We KNOW that that is true. However, the French government risks losing its case, because of the "religious freedom" clause.

  hey folks,.

  so on youtube propagandatechniques came up with a rather cool little idea i think in regards to those who feel trapped inside the organization.

  it's a simple mission, write a letter saying that you are trapped inside and will be labeled an apostate and shunned by your family and friends, then place it in the publications that you're placing at the door.. http://youtu.be/vt6hyt66z6k.

  Although we cannot measure the exact length of “this generation,” we do well to keep in mind several things about the word “generation”: It usually refers to people of varying ages whose lives overlap during a particular time period; it is not excessively long; and it has an end. (Ex. 1:6) How, then, are we to understand Jesus’ words about “this generation”? He evidently meant that the lives of the anointed who were on hand when the sign began to become evident in 1914 would overlap with the lives of other anointed ones who would see the start of the great tribulation.

  Notice the matter of fact way they state things, without any proof,backing or reasoning.

  A few years ago, he evidently meant something else.

  i just found a danish article in "jyllands posten" (yea, the ones who printed drawings of muhammed once).

  i hope that my translation is ok, otherwise, please tell me if there is somewhere you dont understand it.. .

  jehovahs witnesses to be investigatedmembers are encouraged by the leaders, to cease contact with those leaving the society.. .

  Thanks for the post.

  a lot of the members end up married to each other, and a lot being related to each other. That is why it has tremendous consequenses for the individual, who chooses to leave the society. You cant just leave Jehovah's witnesses and join the danish church or another religion. You will be shunned, and your friends, acquaintances and family

  I had never thought of that aspect.

  Thats just what I told an elder after the last time I ever put a foot in a KH.

  He never got back to me, though I was dfd two years later when I met Mrs P.

  Its a phrase that buys you some time now. If they ask again, try just repeating it.

  The important thing now is; get some rest!

  today i got three seperate emails stating that lady gaga has sold her soul to the devil and is using her music and videos to further satan's goals.

  they then go take the various symbology and wording in her music and videos and explain what they mean/represent.

  she is rather wild and out there, and yes i'll admit she does use a lot of symbolism in her music videos.

  i had an awesome experience that i wanted to share.

  i recently attended a course in a town about 60 miles from where i live to get my certification for my business.

  it was a 6 day course and i was to receive my certification at the end of my training.
